Autosomal recessive Hyper-IgE Syndrome

  • Combined T and B cell immunodeficiency
  • Mutation in the DOCK8 (dedicator of Cytokinesis 8) gene
  • Similar to Job Syndrome (autossomal dominant hyper IgE syndrome), such as eczema and recurrent bacterial skin infections, particularly Staphylococcus aureus
  • Increased suscetibility to viral skin infections: herpes, molluscum contagiosum, HPV
